Crown Resorts has unveiled a new collaboration with Golf Australia which sees the operator announced as the official title sponsor of the upcoming men's Australian Open tournament.
As such, Crown will now provide unique fan engagement opportunities and premium fine dining, golfing and hospitality experiences at the tournament's venue - the Royal Melbourne Golf Club - over the course of the event. Representing one of the key golfing events on the annual calendar, the Australian Open attracts thousands of spectators from across the globe every year - with 30% of tickets having been sold to golf enthusiasts from outside of Australia.
Speaking on this latest collaborative effort, Golf Australia CEO, James Sutherland, said: "This is a momentous year for the men's Crown Australian Open, and we take great pride in announcing that Crown is stepping up their partnership by taking on the title partnership of our men's open championship."
Indeed, for Crown Resorts, this latest update falls in the wake of the operator's recent full-year 2025 financial results - which saw the company unveil a return to profits with an AU$142m (US$92.5m) net gain. Elsewhere, last month saw the operator's Perth casino location usher in a new era of cashless slots following new regulations in Western Australia through the planned introduction of card-only play on all its EGMs from 1 December 2025.
Commenting on this latest partnership, Crown Melbourne CEO, Ed Domingo, stated: "Crown is proud to celebrate excellence in Australian sport - we're all about creating memorable and world-class experiences for fans, visitors and guests and the Crown Australian Open will continue this tradition.
"We're thrilled to partner with Golf Australia to deliver an event that embodies excellence, fun and passion. We look forward to welcoming golf enthusiasts to Melbourne and showcasing the very best of Crown's hospitality alongside world-class competition."
This summer, Crown drew up an additional sports-related partnership through its Perth casino location with AC Milan
