Delaware North has launched its Ember Casino platform in New Jersey, marking the first phase of a “broader rebrand” for the operator as it continues to transition its existing digital gaming businesses from the original Betly brand in current and future markets.
While additional brand integrations and market expansions are “planned throughout the year,” Delaware North first began realigning its iGaming strategy in November 2025 when it discontinued Betly operations in Tennessee.
Ember Casino will also introduce a Play to Earn promotion in New Jersey to reward early player engagement, as the Garden State represents a “launching pad” for the site’s broader rollout strategy.
"Ember represents the next chapter for our gaming business," Delaware North President of Gaming Jason Gregorec said.
"We are building a connected platform that integrates our digital and brick-and-mortar expertise, creating a seamless experience for players while positioning us for long-term growth in highly competitive regulated markets."
Ember Casino is currently powered by Playtech, featuring the provider’s responsible gambling solutions and portfolio of slot and live dealer content.
Delaware North recently expanded its partnerships with suppliers such as International Game Technology (IGT), White Hat Studios and Light & Wonder to help support Ember Casino’s launch in New Jersey and future markets.
The operator’s Chief Interactive Gaming Officer Lee Terfloth also spoke on the launch, having said, "Our mission has always been to deliver exceptional experiences.
"These partnerships are fueling our expansion in the digital gaming space with the same level of precision, personalization and innovation our players have come to expect."
Delaware North also maintains a commercial casino portfolio in addition to its iGaming ventures, overseeing properties across seven US states and Australia. The operator also serves as a developer and gaming consultant for a $1bn casino-resort project in North Carolina, owned by the Catawba Nation Tribe.
Delaware North formed a new strategic partnership with Acquire.Bet during October 2025 to help advance the operator's iGaming strategy and improve user acquisition and retention
