Crown Sydney has announced its inaugural 'Emergency Services Charity Stair Climb.'
The event will take place on 28 March 2026 and is open to representatives from the New South Wales Police Service, the Fire and Rescue Service and the Rural Fire Service - some Crown Sydney team members will also take part.
Money raised from the charity event will be donated to select mental health charities.
The Black Dog Institute and Fortem Australia are two of those already earmarked for funds.
Participants will climb the 29 floors of the Crown Sydney tower, which at 275 metres tall, is the tallest building in the city.
Crown Sydney CEO Stanford Le commented: "Crown Sydney is proud to host the inaugural Emergency Services Charity Stair Climb to support and celebrate our frontline heroes and give back to the community."
The event is presented by Crown Resorts and the Crown Resorts Foundation and is being organised with the involvement of 000 Foundation, a charity that seeks to raise awareness and advance the welfare of Emergency Services personnel, with a particular focus on mental wellbeing.
000 Foundation Director Trent Egan said: "We know firsthand how powerful an event like this is for the entire emergency services community and it's exciting to finally bring this climb to New South Wales for the first time."
