David Ginola stars in Boyle Sports’ new TV, digital and social campaign centred on the Squad Builder product
The campaign reinforces Boyle Sports’ strong ties to English football, including recent partnership deals with Leeds United and Nottingham Forest

Boyle Sports has launched a new TV commercial and creative campaign starring Premier League icon David Ginola. It also runs across VOD, digital and social media channels. The ad showcases the Squad Builder product.

A short film features two football fans discussing the Squad Builder, interrupted by  Ginola. This is followed by a scene of Ginola turning toward the camera and explaining the product himself.

Squad Builder lets customers pick two to five players from top leagues and choose from seven key stats, like goals, assists or tackles. Rather than each player having to hit an individual target, their performances combine towards one overall squad total.

Gill Blake-Swift, Director of Brand at Boyle Sports, commented on the campaign, stating: “We wanted to create something that people would genuinely enjoy watching; a piece of entertainment first, not simply another betting advert.

“We saw Squad Builder as an opportunity to push the creative further, with more confidence, personality and cultural relevance.”

Another version of the campaign will feature Ginola explaining the operator’s Early Payout offer. With this promotion, football bets are paid out if a team goes two goals ahead at any point in the match, regardless of the final result.

This development comes as Boyle Sports continues to strengthen its commitment to English football, following agreements to become betting partner of both Leeds United and Nottingham Forest, alongside its continued front-of-shirt sponsorship with West Ham United.

During the summer, Boyle Sports also secured a multi-year partnership with the Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL).
