International Game Technology (IGT) has announced that Andy Hendrickson has expanded his responsibilities to become Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), subject to regulatory approval.

Hendrickson previously served as Chief Technology Officer following the 2025 merger of IGT’s Gaming & Digital business with Everi Holdings.

In the newly created CPTO role, Hendrickson will oversee both technology and product strategy across IGT’s Gaming, Digital and FinTech business units.

The appointment is intended to strengthen alignment between product development, technology execution and the company’s global game studio network, as IGT continues to integrate its expanded portfolio following the merger.

Commenting on the development, IGT Incoming CEO Hector Fernandez stated: "I'm very pleased that Andy Hendrickson is expanding his role at IGT to become our Chief Product & Technology Officer, leveraging his vision and expertise across technology, products and solutions to help our global customers deliver industry-leading games to players while enhancing their operations.

"Andy's leadership as CPTO ensures tighter alignment between our products and processes, and how we leverage world-class talent across our global game studios to create value."

Hendrickson himself added: "I'm excited to expand my global technology leadership role to become IGT Chief Product & Technology Officer.

"I believe IGT has the ingredients to deliver industry-leading products and solutions to our customers, and with the strength of our game studio talent, disciplined content creation and product management, we are well-positioned for growth and innovation."

Hendrickson joined IGT in 2025 after serving as CTO at a competing global supplier. His career spans both gaming and entertainment, including senior technology leadership roles at Activision Publishing, where he worked on major franchises such as Call of Duty and Crash Bandicoot, as well as at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where he contributed to films including Frozen.

Earlier roles also included positions at DreamWorks Animation and Industrial Light & Magic.

Beyond the gaming sector, Hendrickson is a named inventor on multiple US patents and has contributed to advancements in areas such as remote collaboration, image processing and visual effects.

The appointment follows recent organizational developments at IGT, including Hector Fernandez's confirmation as CEO in December 2025 and a two-year contract extension with the Rhode Island Lottery signed earlier this month.
