The GRA has been named in the top 300 employers in Singapore

The Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) has been recognized as one of Singapore’s Top 300 Employers as part of the nation’s opportunity index.

Indeed, the Singapore Opportunity Index (SOI) was initially announced in October 2025 and is an extensive assessment which involved 1,500+ companies from the nation that have at least 100 permanent Singaporean residents as employees. Factors including progression, workplace diversity, pay, retention and additional hiring metrics are all taken into consideration as part of the index, with those recognized representing the top 20% of large-scale Singaporean employers.

As such, the GRA has formally unveiled its recognition as part of this assessment, stating: “This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to creating meaningful career pathways, fostering inclusive growth, and investing in our people's potential. The SOI measures actual employee experiences – from hiring and pay progression to promotion and retention – making this recognition a testament to the real opportunities at GRA.”

This latest update falls in the wake of an additional announcement by the authority made in Q4 2025 – which underlined the renewal of Singapore Pools’ gaming license by the GRA for an additional 5 years. More broadly, this latest development comes amid widespread investment and development in Singapore’s gambling industry, with one of the nation’s key operators – Genting Singapore – reporting a group Q3 2025 revenue figure of SGD $649.8m (US$506.6m) last November.

Elsewhere, Resorts World Sentosa – another key operator in the region – announced plans to embark on a large-scale reinvention campaign this week with the aim of converting one-time visitors into long-term, consistent returning guests.
