Lotto.com will work with the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) to support players this March, which is Problem Gambling Awareness Month (PGAM).
The theme this year, “Caring Communities, Stronger Futures”, is a testament to how people affected by gambling-related harm need a strong support system.
The operator encourages local media and companies to get involved with the campaign by highlighting lived experiences along with the resources available to the wider public.
Thomas Metzger, Lotto.com CEO, said: “At Lotto.com, responsible play and player well-being are foundational to everything we do.
“Problem Gambling Awareness Month is an important opportunity to reinforce our commitment to safer play and we work alongside partners like the National Council on Problem Gambling to ensure individuals have access to education, tools, and support when they need it most.”
The public-facing campaign raised awareness around the availability of prevention, treatment, and recovery services regarding problem gambling.
This month, healthcare providers have also been encouraged to screen for gambling-related harm with patients and signpost individuals to the appropriate resources if they need them.
Heather L. Maurer, NCPG Executive Director, said: “Problem Gambling Awareness Month is made possible through the collective efforts of partners nationwide.
“By working together to raise awareness and share resources, we can reach more individuals and families and ensure support is available when it’s needed.”
Lotto.com was also a supporter of the "Too Young To Bet" 2025 Gift Responsibly Campaign that warned customers about the dangers of gifting lottery tickets to minors at Christmas.
The National Problem Gambling Helpline offers free, confidential support 24/7 in the US and can be accessed through call, text or online chat
