FanDuel launches in Arkansas via the Oaklawn Sports app
The expansion marks FanDuel’s latest US state entry

FanDuel has launched its sportsbook offering in the state of Arkansas through a partnership with Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.

Under the agreement, the existing Oaklawn Sports mobile app will now be powered by FanDuel technology, giving users access to a broader range of betting options including parlays, prop bets and in-game wagering.

The move reflects Arkansas’ unique regulatory structure, which requires mobile sportsbook operators to partner with licensed land-based casinos. Indeed, last month saw both FanDuel and DraftKings unveil respective plans to target sports betting licensure in the state.

Each casino can host up to two online betting platforms, with Oaklawn acting as FanDuel’s local partner.

For bettors, the launch introduces one of the US’s most established sportsbook brands into a market that has historically been limited to locally operated platforms.

Users must be aged 21 or over and physically located within state lines to place bets, with geolocation and identity verification systems ensuring compliance.

The rollout also includes responsible gambling tools such as deposit limits and spend tracking, aligning with broader industry efforts to promote safer play.

This latest update comes following the launch of a new free gas giveaway activation by FanDuel Predict, FanDuel's new prediction market platform, in Tampa, Florida last week - with the promotion ties to March basketball tournaments and platform engagement.
