The New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) has reported the Empire State’s total online sports betting activity for June 2026, as operators generated $116.8m of gross gaming revenue (GGR), equating to a decrease of 43.5%.
The loss in revenue was reported despite New York’s total online sports wagering handle increasing 36.6% during June to nearly $2.3bn, representing the third-highest monthly handle recorded up to this point in 2026.

FanDuel led all mobile operators with $42.7m of GGR, but witnessed a decrease of 50.5% year-over-year. DraftKings was a very close runner-up after generating $41.6m, representing a decrease of 40.5%.
BetMGM and Fanatics Sportsbook generated respective June 2026 online sports betting revenues of $10.8m and $9.2m, equating to decreases of 9.4% and 47% from the prior year period.
Caesars Sportsbook managed to account for nearly $5.9m of New York’s online sports betting revenue for June, having decreased 52.1%. Rush Street Interactive’s online sports betting revenue decreased 23.2% to $2.9m, while theScore Bet generated $2.6m and fell 36.8%.

Finally, Bally Bet generated $1.2m of online sports betting revenue in New York during June, representing an increase of 50.9%.
Just days prior to the report, New York District Court Judge Analisa Torres denied a preliminary injunction request from Kalshi against the NYSGC, believing there is “nothing” preventing the operator from obtaining a required license.

The prediction markets operator originally filed for a preliminary injunction and temporary restraining order against the NYSGC in October 2025, part of an attempt to continue offering sports event contracts to residents.
The NYSGC issued a cease-and-desist letter to Kalshi which initiated the legal proceedings, requiring the operator to stop “advertising, promoting, administering, managing or otherwise making available sports wagering and/or a mobile sports wagering platform in New York.”
