Seneca Resorts & Casinos has announced a $47m hotel room renovation at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, set to begin in October.
"Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is the gateway to bold, distinctive and memorable experiences for our guests," said Kevin Nephew, Seneca Resorts & Casinos President and CEO, adding that the renovation is meant to keep the property "at the leading edge of luxury."
The project will completely renovate and upgrade 594 rooms and suites across 22 floors, spanning 394,000 square feet in what the company describes as Western New York's largest hotel.
Crews will work in three-floor phases, with completion expected by December 2027.
Seneca Niagara, standing 26 stories tall near Niagara Falls, has held AAA's Four Diamond Award every year since 2006 and served more than 181,000 occupied rooms in 2025, with roughly 141,000 so far in 2026.
The property currently offers 604 rooms and suites alongside several restaurants, a spa, an indoor pool, a fitness center, a 2,300-seat event center, retail space and meeting and banquet facilities.
“Our vision for this project delivers on the elegance and quality our guests have come to expect from each visit to Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, building on the transformative experience that greets them when they arrive and carrying that feeling of excitement and anticipation of what’s to come throughout the hotel,” said Hicham Jaddoud, Senior Vice President of Resort Operations.
Earlier this year, the company completed a $2.7m renovation of the Seneca Café at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, and is currently working on a $5.8m overhaul of that resort's Thunder Mountain Buffet, due to finish in November.
