Caixa Loterias published Circular 1,123, introducing version 21 of its Product Manual and revoking the prior version from May
Draws previously held on Saturdays will now take place on Sundays
Loteca can now be organized around "any other theme," not just traditional matchups

Caixa Loterias has published version 21 of its Product Manual, the document consolidating the rules governing Brazil's federal lotteries.

The update, formalized through Circular 1,123 and signed by Executive Director Thays Cintra Vieira, revokes the previous version, Circular 1,111, issued in May 2026.

The manual brings together the rules on definitions, game types, sales channels, fees, revenue distribution, prizes and draws for Brazil's Prognostics Lotteries and the Federal Ticket Lottery. The new version introduces six changes from the previous edition, with the most significant affecting Dia de Sorte and Timemania, alongside an expanded scope for Loteca.

For Dia de Sorte, the update revised the number of available "teimosinhas" (repeat-bet tickets) and changed the draw schedule. Timemania's team correlation table was also updated.

Loteca received revised wording for its special modality and a new provision expanding how contests can be organized, allowing the game to be based on events "related to any other theme," beyond traditional matchups.

Among the operational changes, draws previously held on Saturdays will now take place on Sundays. The update also added consumer guidance clarifying that bets completed with a proof-of-purchase receipt are explicitly eligible for the draws.

Recently, Caixa Loterias launched an affiliate program allowing Brazil's lottery retailers to promote its Digital Instant Lottery and earn commissions on customers referred through personalized links and QR codes.

Caixa was also set to launch its own online betting platform, but the project was postponed to go live in 2027 only.
