Zé Felipe is returning to betting advertising after signing a new contract with a different platform.
The singer had ended his partnership with Blaze shortly before his marriage to Virginia Fonseca ended in May 2025.
Fonseca is currently Brazil's biggest influencer by follower count, with more than 50 million.
According to national sources, even though the betting company is yet to be named, the new deal is worth around BR350m a year, roughly BR29m a month.
Despite the sizable figure, it's reportedly still lower than what Zé Felipe previously earned from Blaze. Sources say some concerns about the company led him to end that earlier partnership, while Fonseca, still married to him at the time, kept her contract with Blaze.
Blaze has faced its own regulatory troubles since then. Brazil's Secretariat of Prizes and Betting fined the operator BR2.3m over advertising material featuring children and adolescents and targeting audiences under 18. Blaze's parent company, Foggo Entertainment, has 10 days to file an administrative appeal, and said it does not comment on ongoing legal proceedings.
Separately, Brazil's Public Prosecutor's Office in the Federal District has requested advertising contracts signed between Blaze and Fonseca and footballer Neymar Jr, as part of an ongoing civil investigation into the company's marketing practices.
The Federal Government has since introduced its own package of advertising restrictions for licensed operators, requiring every betting ad to display one of three official warnings: "Betting can cause addiction," "Betting makes you lose money," or "Betting is not an investment."
