The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported combined gaming revenue of $591.1m for July 2026, up 5.99% from the same month last year.

The amount generated $256.8m in tax revenue.

Retail slot machine revenue rose 2.48% to $213.7m, while iGaming slots revenue climbed 12.41% to $199.2m. 

Sports wagering was the standout category, with taxable revenue up 27.75% to $51.8m on a total handle of $509.5m, itself up 23.53% year-on-year. Retail table games revenue declined 5.07% to $72.4m, while iGaming table games revenue slipped 2.20% to $47.4m.

Among individual properties, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led the state with $111.5m in total revenue, up 7.71%, followed by Valley Forge Casino Resort at $103.4m, up 16.36%. 

The number of slot machines in operation statewide rose slightly to 24,561, up from 24,362 a year earlier. Within iGaming, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led all operators with $97m in total online revenue, followed by Valley Forge Casino Resort at $70.1m and Rivers Casino Philadelphia at $40.5m.

Bally's Pennsylvania posted the sharpest growth among major operators, up 65.58% to $5.5m, while Wind Creek Bethlehem saw the steepest decline, down 17.11% to $39.8m. Happy Valley Casino, which opened in April 2026, contributed $2.5m in its first full month of reporting.

Fantasy contests revenue rose 35.49% to $803,119, with DraftKings accounting for the majority at $629,777.

Recently, the PGCB reported that Pennsylvania's gaming revenue topped $7bn for fiscal year 2025-26 for the first time, up 9.6% year-on-year, even as June's monthly revenue dipped 1.7% to $535.3m.
