Konami Group Corporation has reported mixed results for the nine months ended December 31 2025, with solid performance across digital entertainment and a weaker outcome in its Gaming and Systems division. The segment faced softer demand as operators delayed purchases in anticipation of new hardware.
Gaming and Systems revenue declined to JP¥28.7bn, a reduction of 5.7% from the previous year. Business profit fell to JP¥1.82bn, reflecting both the slowdown and higher input costs linked to tariff measures in the United States.
The period included the industry launch of the Solstice 49C™ cabinet, Konami's first new cabinet in around six years. The product features a 49 inch 4K display with integrated lighting and an audio responsive design. It was voted Best New Core Cabinet at Global Gaming Expo 2025 following wide interest from operators.
Konami expanded licensed content and original intellectual property within its slot portfolio. In North America the company introduced Bomberman for the Solstice series alongside Red Fortune Rail. In Australia titles such as K Pow Pig, What the Duck™ and the Bull Rush Stampede and Power Panther series continued to secure placements.
Progress was also recorded in systems, with additional Synkros installations across casinos and cruise operators. The roll out of SYNK Vision™ facial recognition has now moved from slot machines to table games to support improved player identification and operational accuracy.
Konami reported new orders in Historical Horse Racing markets in Kentucky and Wyoming as well as further deployments of Video Lottery Terminals in Illinois. Its Konami Online Interactive brand continues to expand the group into the iGaming sector.
The company stated that it will prioritise the expansion of the Solstice™ series together with new content launches and further systems deployment as the division prepares for a recovery in demand once the new hardware cycle progresses.
Konami has secured a gaming-related vendor licence in the United Arab Emirates ahead of the country's first integrated resort opening in 2027
