Kaizen Foundation to fund construction of 120 emergency homes in Brazil
Partnership with TETO Brazil spans 2025 and 2026
Project expected to benefit at least 500 people in vulnerable communities

Kaizen Foundation has announced a partnership with TETO Brazil to fund the construction of 120 emergency homes for families living in conditions of extreme vulnerability across Brazil.

The initiative, fully financed by the Foundation, will support the building of 35 homes during the second half of 2025 and a further 85 throughout 2026. The project is designed to provide immediate housing solutions for communities lacking access to safe and stable living conditions.

TETO Brazil is part of a wider Latin American network of volunteers working alongside residents in underserved communities to address poverty through improvements in housing and habitat. The emergency homes are constructed in partnership with local families and community members, with the aim of providing safer shelter and improved living standards.

According to the organisations, the 120 homes are expected to benefit at least 500 people who currently live in precarious housing conditions, including homes with dirt floors and limited structural protection.

Commenting on the partnership, Panos Konstantopoulos, President of Kaizen Foundation, stated: “Access to safe housing is a fundamental condition for dignity and stability, especially at times of crisis. Through our partnership with TETO Brazil, we are supporting practical, community-led solutions that respond to urgent needs and create safer living conditions for families experiencing extreme vulnerability.”

Layanne Paixão, Executive Director of TETO Brazil, added: “This project shows that tackling poverty requires concrete action and partnerships committed to real transformation. Each home built represents more than shelter – it is the foundation for families to live with safety, dignity and hope for the future. Our commitment is clear: to work so that no family in Brazil has to live on a dirt floor.”

The announcement adds to a series of community-focused initiatives connected to Kaizen Gaming in Brazil. Its sports betting brand Betano has recently supported a free breast cancer screening programme through nonprofit Laço Rosa, as well as Vida Ativa, a community fitness project for women in São Paulo's Capão Redondo district.
