The Australian Turf Club has announced a new multi-year partnership with United Resource Management, strengthening its waste and recycling capabilities across Sydney racing’s major events and year-round operations.

Under the agreement, URM will provide integrated waste services for the Club’s flagship racedays as well as its daily activities at five venues: Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, Warwick Farm, Canterbury Park and Rosehill Bowling Club. The waste management provider will also receive prominent on-course branding throughout the year, including race naming rights on key racedays at Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens.

The collaboration brings together two organisations that say they share a commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement and responsible environmental practices. URM, which has more than four decades of experience, is known for delivering large-scale waste solutions for major Australian events and venues.

“We are proud to welcome URM to the Australian Turf Club partner family,” Australian Turf Club CEO Steve McMahon said. “This partnership combines URM’s proven expertise in waste management with our shared commitment to innovation and sustainability across both racedays and our year-round operations.”

URM CEO David Johnston said: “We’re excited to join forces with the Australian Turf Club – a respected institution with iconic venues and events. URM has a long history of supporting community sport and major events, and we look forward to delivering efficient, innovative and sustainable waste services across ATC venues.”

URM Managing Director Anthony Johnston said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Australian Turf Club, an organisation with such a proud history in Sydney. This is a chance to bring our people, our expertise and our passion for delivering exceptional service to some of the country’s most prestigious events, while also working together on smarter, more responsible waste solutions.”
