Spribe has outlined that Flutter-owned Betnacional has been operating Aviator unlawfully in the Brazilian market, with orders to cease now coming from courts in the nation.
Indeed, the Court of Justice of Pernambuco (TJPE) submitted an interim injunction against Betnacional parent company NSX Brasil for unauthorized usage of the Aviator brand, requesting that it cease operations related to the gaming title immediately – with daily fines for non-compliance with these measures. These financial penalties will continue to occur until any further developments are made in the case.
The decision behind this injunction stems from Spribe’s comprehensive ownership of the Aviator brand and brand trademark, with exclusive use rights in Brazil authorized under the National Institute of Industrial Property.
Commenting on this development via LinkedIn, Spribe stated: “This interim decision in Brazil marks a significant milestone in Spribe’s worldwide strategy to safeguard its assets. The company is actively monitoring markets across all continents and will continue to enforce its trademark and copyright protections in every jurisdiction.
“Spribe remains committed to taking all necessary legal actions against infringers to protect the integrity of the original "Aviator" experience and ensure a fair, transparent environment for its global player base.”
This latest development falls closely behind the lifting of Spribe’s previous suspension from the UK market at the hands of the Gambling Commission, which was initiated in October 2025. The commission outlined that the supplier required a hosting license, an issue Spribe outlined as administrative and has since amended.
Elsewhere recently, Spribe also announced the appointment of UFC fighter Michael Bisping as its latest Aviator ambassador in Q1 of this year.
Flutter acquired a 56% stake in NSX Group – Betnacional parent company – for $350m in May 2025
